Everything a visitor to a site sees, clicks, or uses to input or retrieve information is the work of the front-end developer who creates client-side software that brings the site’s design to life. \n\nUsing a combination of markup languages, design, and client-side scripts and frameworks, the front-end developer creates the environment for everything that website users see and touch: content, layout, and interaction. \n\nHe/she must be willing to work in a fast-paced, professional, deadline-driven environment; be knowledgeable in web development standards; and must be able to communicate with project stakeholders effectively.\n\nResponsibilities include\n\n Convert approved designs in any format (e.g. PSD) into interactive web pages using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.\n\n Create and edit standards-compliant Wordpress themes. \n\n Create custom Wordpress page templates.\n\n Set up animations and videos on web pages using HTML5.\n\n Add and update site content.\n\n Ensure site compatibility across required browsers. \n\n Learn new coding techniques and platforms with minimal supervision\n\n Review and prioritize queued tasks.\n\n Coordinate with team leader, project manager, and art director about deliverables.\n\n Provide clear concise task updates to project managers and art directors to facilitate a smooth workflow within the team.\n\n Comply with company policies as stated in the handbook provided upon employment. \n\n Must pass the FEWD nesting exam. \n\n Would need to complete 4 type-1 conversions or 2 for other types per month (3% of average monthly incoming conversions). \n\n Would need a minimum QA score of 95% per month consecutive for 4 months. \n\n Must undergo and pass WCAG and ADA training. \n\n Must undergo and pass Bootstrap write jQuery plugins is a
