This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial and inventory records.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAccounts Payable (AP)\nInvoice Processing: Accurately process all supplier invoices.\n\nDocument Matching: Match purchase orders, delivery notes, Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and invoices.\n\nLedger Reconciliation: Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are properly posted.\n\nQuery Resolution: Communicate with suppliers via phone, email, and in-person to resolve billing queries and discrepancies.\n\nSupplier Management: Follow up on overdue invoices/payments and facilitate new supplier credit applications or limit increases.\n\nInventory Support & Administration\nStock Take: Assist with the coordination and execution of weekly stock take activities.\n\nRecord Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable and inventory transactions, including organized filing systems (electronic and paper).\n\nCompliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.\n\nCollaboration: Collaborate with the Finance and Production teams to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is essential, with FMCG experience recommended.\n\nLiving physically in Cape Town, WC!\nSoftware: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
