Previous experience or exposure to government audits will be advantageousKey Responsibilities:\n- Assist in planning and conducting audit engagements in accordance with relevant standards and guidelines\n- Perform testing of financial data and controls to identify potential areas of risk or non-compliance\n- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations for clients\n- Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and industries to better identify areas for improvement\n- Maintain accurate and detailed workpapers and documentation for each audit engagement\n- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any questions or concerns\n- Stay current on industry trends and changes to audit regulations and standards\nQualifications and Skills:\n- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n- Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel\n- Knowledge of audit and accounting principles is a plus\n- Enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow in the field of auditing\nThis position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in auditing.
