Beyond daily operations, you will lead and mentor a small team of Junior Creditors Clerks, making this an ideal step for an aspiring supervisor.\nKey Responsibilities\nInvoice & Payment Management\nOversee the full-cycle invoice process, ensuring validity, accuracy, and timely posting into the accounting system.\n\nPerform monthly supplier reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and documenting differences for sign-off.\n\nPrepare and execute accurate payment runs in accordance with company policies and payment terms.\n\nManage expense claims, refunds, and the accurate capture of journals.\n\nTeam Leadership\nProvide day-to-day guidance, leadership, and support to the creditors team.\n\nAllocate workloads, monitor deadlines, and ensure all team deliverables are met.\n\nAct as an escalation point for complex supplier disputes and internal stakeholder issues.\n\nAssist with the onboarding, training, and performance monitoring of team members.\n\nData & Compliance\nMaintain an organized vendor Masterfile and accurate records for all creditor transactions.\n\nSupport month-end close processes and ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.\n\nPrepare and review management reports related to outstanding liabilities and cash flow.\n\nMinimum Requirements\nExperience & Qualifications:\n3-4 years’ experience in the financial or credit industry.\n\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisory role.\n\nDegree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\n\nExposure to foreign suppliers is considered an advantage.\n\nTechnical Skills & Attributes:\nIntermediate proficiency in MS Excel; basic proficiency in Word and Outlook.\n\nStrong organizational, administration, and time management skills.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nDeep understanding of accounting and creditor processes.\n\nApply Today!\nIf you are a deadline-driven leader ready to make a real difference:\n?
