This includes monitoring stock levels, coordinating the procurement and transportation of materials, implementing inventory control processes, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of inventory data.Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement inventory management strategies and best practices in compliance with company policies and industry standards.\nMonitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.\nCoordinate and oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting.\nCollaborate with various departments to forecast future inventory needs and ensure timely availability of materials.\nMonitor and control inventory costs by implementing efficient inventory control systems.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective material sourcing.\nEstablish and maintain an accurate inventory tracking system, including regular physical inventory counts, reconciliations, and cycle counting procedures.\nSupervise a team of inventory control personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.\nPrepare regular inventory reports, including stock levels, consumption trends, and forecasting, for management review.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues in an efficient and timely manner.\nEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations in all inventory management activities.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.\nProven work experience in inventory management, preferably within the mining industry.\nStrong knowledge of inventory control processes, best practices, and software systems.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAttention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.\nKnowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to inventory management in the mining industry.\nAbility to lead and motivate a team.\nWorking knowledge of SAGE Evolution\nBenefits:\nSalary: Negotiable\nPaid Time Off (PTO) (If applicable)\nHire Resolve is a top-tier recruitment firm that focuses on placing skilled professionals in permanent employment.
