As a Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the success of the construction industry.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for managing costs, preparing estimates and budgets, analysing contracts, and providing accurate quantity calculations. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.\nIf you have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a background in quantity surveying, we would love to hear from you.\nResponsibilities\nPrepare details to complete tender documents\nPrepare and price bills of quantities for contracts based on drawings and specifications\nPrepare Bills of Quantities and other tender documentation for fair and equitable tenders\nPrepare feasibility studies and budgets for proposed projects\nNegotiate building contracts\nComplete tender documents\nArrange necessary guarantees on projects as required\nAssist and/or prepare construction programs\nPrepare project cash flow forecasts\nLiaise with and maintain good relations with clients, site managers, and subcontractors\nDraft contract documents\nPrepare subcontractor payment advice and reconciliations for interim payments\nPrepare subcontractor final accounts with reference to final valuations\nPrepare monthly interim valuations/claims for submission to clients, accounting for all variations and additional work\nMonitor costs to ensure contracts perform according to budgets\nEnsure supplier costs align with budgetary allowances\nMonitor costs and report to clients during the design and construction phases of projects\nAssist the site manager in controlling project costs\nApply to the architect or client for confirmation of verbal instructions issued on site\nDocument design changes and update budgets\nIdentify and escalate discrepancies between budgets and actual costs to the Managing Director immediately\nAdvise on contractual matters impacting project performance\nDetermine final costs of projects\nPrepare final cost reports on overall performance of completed projects\nEnsure all tasks and duties are executed and completed in strict accordance with company ISO standards.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor\nBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field\nProficiency in estimation software and tools\nStrong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and technologies\nExcellent analytical and mathematical skills\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specifications\nBenefits:\nSalary negotiable\nOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.\nContact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.\nApply for this role today, contact Lisa Meyer at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn\nYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: \nWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
