The successful candidate will oversee project delivery, ensure quality standards, mentor engineers, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead water infrastructure, wet services and related engineering projects from inception to completion.\nReview designs, drawings, calculations and technical reports for quality and compliance.\nEstablish technical standards, quality assurance processes and design review procedures.\nMentor junior and mid-level engineers toward ECSA registration.\nManage project scope, budgets, fees, variations, risks and deliverables.\nBuild client relationships and contribute to proposals, business development and practice growth.\nDevelop specialist services in water resilience, treatment, groundwater, wastewater reuse and smart water monitoring.\nSupport the strategic development of the engineering practice.\nMinimum Requirements\nBSc/BEng in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.\nECSA Pr Eng registration or imminent registration with a verifiable application.\nExtensive experience in water engineering, wet services or infrastructure project delivery.\nStrong technical design, quality assurance and project management skills.\nProven mentoring, client management and commercial capabilities.\nValid driver's license and reliable transport.\nAdvantageous Experience\nGroundwater, water treatment, fire water and wastewater reuse systems.\nSANS 10252 and SANS 10400 standards.\nRevit, Civil 3D and multidisciplinary engineering consulting.\nJBCC, NEC or FIDIC contract administration.\nCommissioning, claims, variations and live-site retrofit projects.\nSustainable water management, ESG, ISO 46001 or green building standards.\nContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
