The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the C# MVC web application and REST API. This role involves planning, creating, and executing tests, reporting on test results, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases;\nPerform functional, integration, end-to-end and regression testing;\nAutomate web application tests using Selenium WebDriver;\nUse TestRail to document test plans, manage test cases, and track test execution;\nCollaborate with developers to identify, document, and track bugs to resolution;\nGenerate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and results;\nParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective;\nContinuously improve testing processes and methodologies\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in software testing;\nProficiency in testing C# MVC web applications and REST APIs;\nExperience with test management tools, particularly TestRail;\nAbility to perform both manual and automated testing;\nStrong knowledge of automated testing tools, especially Selenium WebDriver;\nProficient in using version control systems like Git;\nStrong understanding of different types of testing (functional, integration, end-to-end, regression;\nExperience with creating and managing test plans, test cases, and test scripts;\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills;\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality;\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal;\nAbility to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment;\nExperience in an Agile/Scrum development environment;\nFamiliarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello;\nFamiliarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) tools like SpecFlow would be beneficial;\nExperience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI;\nISTQB certification or other relevant certifications in software testing would be an advantage\nBenefits:\nYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.co.za or email us: \nWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
