The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, maintaining excellent customer service standards, managing staff effectively and ensuring the store is consistently maintained to a high operational and visual standard.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee all aspects of the day-to-day management of the store, including sales, staff, stock and resources.\nDevelop strategies to increase customer traffic, grow the customer base and optimise profitability.\nMeet sales targets through training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.\nEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.\nComplete store administration and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.\nMaintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.\nMonitor and report on buying trends, customer needs, profits and other relevant store information.\nPropose innovative ideas to increase market share.\nConduct personnel performance appraisals, identify training needs and support career development.\nDeal with staff and customer issues, including complaints and grievances.\nConduct daily stock counts, investigate variances and report discrepancies within the required timeframe.\nMonitor service bookings, collections and turnaround times, ensuring customer commitments are met.\nFollow up on customer queries, refunds, complaints, orders and other outstanding matters.\nCheck completed stylist work to ensure it meets the required standards and customer requirements.\nFollow up on branch requests and escalate issues where necessary.\nEnsure displays are correctly maintained, wigs are styled appropriately for sale, and all units are correctly labelled and priced.\nEnsure the store is clean, presentable and adequately staffed according to the staff schedule.\nManage leave administration and ensure relevant information is captured and approved.\nRespond to POS reconciliation queries and attend to transaction variances.\nEnsure the branch has the required equipment and resources to operate effectively.\nPrepare payroll movements, damages and leave information.\nPrepare work schedules and off-day schedules.\nComplete month-end processes and ensure all sales, returns and exchanges are captured.\nOrder and manage store groceries and minimise waste and theft.\nMonitor customer satisfaction, sales and profitability targets, store cleanliness, staff appearance and workplace culture.\nConduct regular team meetings and communicate daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.\nEnsure all sales are captured on POS and customers receive their transaction slips.\nEnsure store security procedures are followed, including securing company assets and setting the store alarm.\nPlace weekly stock and product orders and follow up on expected deliveries.\nSubmit weekly stock takes and attend to stock variances within the required turnaround times.\nPerform any other reasonable duties aligned with the Store Manager role.\nRequirements:\nProven experience in a Store Manager or supervisory role within a retail environment.\nStrong sales and customer service skills.\nExperience managing and motivating staff.\nExperience with stock management and stock take processes.\nStrong administrative and organisational skills.\nAbility to monitor and drive sales and profitability targets.\nAbility to handle customer queries, complaints and grievances professionally.\nExperience with POS processes and transaction reconciliation.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to investigate stock and transaction variances.\nAbility to maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage workplace issues.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of day-to-day store operations.\nBenefits:\n\nSalary: negotiable.\nContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.\nApply for this role today, contact Abigail King at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.\nYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: \nWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
