The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and operations, including procurement, vendor relations, production, logistics, and distribution. Develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for production and operations. Oversees demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to ensure resource requirements are satisfied. Communicates with MD regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure on time delivery.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild and maintain strong internal and external relationships, including suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners.\nSchedule and conduct periodic vendor evaluations to ensure adherence to pricing, quality, and contractual agreements.\nNegotiate and manage supplier pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.\nEnsure on-time delivery of quality raw materials, consumables, and departmental requirements.\nManage and execute the full Stores and Assembly functions, including planning, directing, and resource allocation.\nIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.\nOversee stock control, address slow-moving and obsolete stock, and maintain optimal inventory levels.\nDevelop and manage the overall supply chain strategy, including forecasting and planning of inventory.\nImplement and sustain a production planning system to ensure on-time, in-full delivery to customers.\nManage short-term and long-term forecast projections to guide production and inventory planning.\nMaintain detailed records, compile reports, and prepare presentations to support management decision-making.\nDevelop effective communication and processes with logistics and transportation vendors.\nRead, interpret, and comply with legal documents such as contracts and import/export agreements.\nSupport logistics improvements in inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipping, delivery, and returns processes.\nControl and evaluate distribution channels while managing associated costs.\nManage end-to-end logistics across the supply chain from procurement to shipment of finished goods.\nDemonstrate strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.\nDisplay computer literacy across MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in business management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.\n\n5 plus years of experience in supply chain management, preferably operations, warehouse, manufacturing, and purchasing leadership A related degree or pursuing a related degree (NQF 7).\n\nBenefits:\n\nSalary: negotiable.\nContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.\nApply for this role today, contact Sonique Beetge at Hire Resolve or on LinkedIn.\nYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: \nWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
