Hired is an LGBTQIA2S+ friendly employer.\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION/PRIMARY OBJECTIVE\nThe Program Manager will partner with existing management to oversee planning, implementation, and performance of Hired’s Hennepin MFIP Program and program staff. The Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) works with families meet their basic needs, while helping caregivers move to financial stability through education and work. Hired is committed to developing and implementing programming that supports the whole family and reduces racial disparity gaps. This position will supervise staff members at our Minneapolis Office and will require some travel around the Twin Cities.\nThe ideal MFIP Manager is a people-centered leader with experience in workforce development, human services, or public assistance programs. They understand how families’ unique experiences, cultures, strengths, and barriers shape their paths to financial stability. They’ll partner with fellow managers to coach and develop staff across Hired’s Minneapolis locations, build an inclusive and high-performing team, use data to improve services, and strengthen relationships with county and community partners. This role is a great fit for a hands-on leader who balances compassion with meeting program outcomes.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nCollege degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or a related field, plus at least three (3) years case management or supervisory experience. A college degree may be substituted for additional years of experience.\nAbility to lead diverse teams in a manner that is equitable and inclusive.\nAbility to lead by example and to mentor and guide others.\nSkills in written and oral communication. \nAbility to work effectively with others.\nSkill in teaching/coaching techniques.\nEfficient organizational and planning skills.\nEffective time management and ability to prioritize work. \nAbility and willingness to respond constructively to rapid change.\nComputer proficiency (especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).\nValid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance and vehicle or a reliable means to travel for work when needed. \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nManage and oversee the administrative and daily operations of assigned programs, ensuring compliance with governing contracts.\nAssist in establishing and implementing short and long-range goals for the program and the organization.\nEnsure that the program activities meet the specified objectives and program goals. Oversee the collection, compilation, and analysis of program data; prepare and present findings as necessary.\nEvaluate program performance and reports. Communicate critical issues and program activities to the associate program director or program director.\nMay provide supervision to staff involved with the assigned programs, which includes work allocation, employee training and development, problem resolution; evaluates performance of supervised staff and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Assist in the recruitment, hiring and training of program staff.\nAssist with the management of contracts, grants, county/state and federal funding. Approve and monitor budget expenditures; assist with proposal writing to develop additional funding.\nMay provide services for assigned client caseload in order to meet program goals.\nKeep Hired management informed of critical issues or factors which may impact the organization.\nKeep abreast of factors or programs which may affect job placement including the labor market situation, available training programs for clients (internal and external), and various client assistance programs.\nOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssist with the design and development of new programs/projects.\nCollaborate with other Hired departments, programs, and community partners to consolidate resources and enhance program performance. \nParticipate in the development and implementation of methods to evaluate and improve client and employer satisfaction.
