This role is ideal for a driven tax professional with a solid foundation in federal and multi-state tax law who is ready to grow within a collaborative, fully remote team. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple filing jurisdictions and compliance deadlines.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and file US federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting schedules with accuracy and timeliness\n\nAssist with the quarterly and annual income tax provision process (ASC 740)\n\nResearch and document tax issues related to compliance, transactions, and regulatory changes under US tax law\n\nSupport multi-state sales and use tax compliance, including nexus analysis and filing\n\nMaintain and reconcile tax-related accounts within the general ledger\n\nAssist in responding to tax notices, audits, and information requests from federal and state authorities\n\nCollaborate with the Finance team to ensure accuracy of tax-related financial data and disclosures\n\nTrack and monitor changes in US tax legislation that may affect compliance obligations\n\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong working knowledge of US federal and multi-state tax law - non-negotiable\n\nHands-on experience with tax return preparation and compliance in a corporate or public accounting setting\n\nFamiliarity with income tax provision processes (ASC 740) and basic tax accounting concepts\n\nCPA designation or active pursuit of CPA licensure preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required\n\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills with a professional and precise approach\n\nHigh attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously\n\nMust have prior remote work experience, be proficient with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or similar), and have worked with US-based companies.
