With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. \n\nJob Summary\nThe HVAC Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of HVAC systems installed on-site, particularly in mission-critical environments such as data centres, server rooms, and power rooms.\nKey Responsibilities\nImplement QA/QC procedures for HVAC works, including preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and method statements.\nInspect installation of HVAC systems, including: chilled water systems, precision cooling units (CRAC/CRAH), air handling units (AHU) and fan coil units (FCU), ductwork, insulation, and air distribution systems.\nEnsure HVAC systems meet mission-critical requirements, including redundancy configurations (N+1, 2N), temperature and humidity control, and airflow management such as hot aisle / cold aisle containment.\nWitness and verify testing and commissioning activities, and review all reports prior to system handover.\nReview and manage project documentation.\nIdentify non-conformities (NCRs), conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\nCoordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure HVAC works comply with contract requirements.\nConduct regular site inspections, audits, and prepare QA/QC reports for submission to the QA/QC Manager or Project Manager.\nSupport project completion and handover activities, including final inspections, documentation submission, client interface, and defect rectification.\nJob Requirements\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 years of HVAC QA/QC experience in construction projects, with strong preference for experience in data centres, server rooms, power rooms, or other mission-critical facilities.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, with familiarity in data centre standards.\nFamiliar with testing and commissioning processes.\nPossess good communication in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia;
