This role leads the inventory team, drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages customer inventory requirements, and serves as the key escalation point for inventory-related issues.\nKey Responsibilities\nInventory Leadership & Governance\n Lead and supervise the Inventory Control team to achieve inventory accuracy and operational KPIs.\nEstablish inventory control processes, standards, and best practices across warehouse operations.\nEnsure adherence to customer requirements, SOPs, and inventory control procedures.\nAct as the primary point of contact for inventory-related escalations.\nInventory Management\n Oversee all inventory transactions, adjustments, transfers, returns, and stock reconciliations.\nMonitor inventory integrity and ensure accurate stock records within the WMS.\nReview and approve inventory adjustments and variance reports.\nEnsure timely resolution of inventory discrepancies and root cause analysis.\nStock Take & Audit Management\n Plan and manage cycle counts, wall-to-wall stock takes, and customer audits.\nLead investigations into inventory variances and implement preventive measures.\nEnsure audit readiness and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.\nMonitor inventory accuracy trends and develop corrective action plans.\nCustomer & Stakeholder Management\n Serve as the key inventory representative for customers and internal stakeholders.\nConduct inventory review meetings with customers and management.\nSupport customer implementations, onboarding projects, and inventory migrations.\nProvide inventory insights and recommendations to improve operational performance.\nReporting & Performance Management\n Analyze inventory KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.\nPrepare weekly and monthly inventory performance reports.\nMonitor service level agreements (SLAs) related to inventory management.\nPresent inventory performance updates during operational reviews.\nContinuous Improvement & Digitalization\n Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.\nIdentify system enhancement opportunities and support WMS implementation projects.\nLead inventory process optimization and digitalization initiatives.\nDevelop and maintain inventory control training materials and SOPs.\nTeam Development\n Coach, mentor, and develop Inventory Controllers.\nConduct performance reviews and training for inventory team members.\nFoster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.\nJob Requirements\nDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline.\nMinimum 5-8 years of warehouse inventory management experience.\nAt least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.\nStrong experience with WMS, ERP systems, and inventory reporting tools.\nStrong leadership and people management skills.\nAdvanced inventory control and warehouse operations knowledge.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong customer and stakeholder management skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory analytics.\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nSalary Range: Up to RM8.5k\nLocation: Iskandar Puteri,
