The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, data architecture, and modern data technologies, along with the ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead architecture and development of scalable data engineering solutions across multiple domains.\nDrive complex cross-team projects and define technical strategies with engineering leadership.\nOwn and enhance critical data platforms, services, and engineering practices.\nEvaluate and implement new technologies to improve data capabilities.\nBuild and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and real-time processing systems.\nCollaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.\nMentor engineers and contribute to coding standards, reviews, technical documentation, and best practices.\nEnsure quality engineering practices through code reviews, CI/CD processes, and production deployments.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n6–10 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering within large-scale, high-volume environments.\nStrong expertise in SQL and Python (expert in one and strong understanding of the other).\nExtensive experience with Snowflake architecture, optimization, and performance tuning.\nStrong experience in Kimball dimensional modeling, data warehouses, and star schema architectures.\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure for data platforms.\nExperience with DBT or SQL Mesh for data transformation workflows.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitFlow/Trunk-based development, and data governance.\nExperience with Apache Kafka, event-driven architectures, and real-time analytics pipelines.\nKnowledge of Lakehouse architecture, Apache Iceberg, and modern data platforms.\nUnderstanding of data security, GDPR, and PCI-DSS compliance requirements.\nAbility to independently architect solutions and drive technical initiatives.\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience working in cybersecurity, fintech, ad-tech, or other high-volume data environments.\nExperience with subscription analytics, cohort analysis, LTV
