They are looking for someone who is a strong troubleshooter, takes ownership of infrastructure projects, works effectively in an Agile environment, and can mentor junior team members while participating in on-call support.\nThis is an active posting for an open position.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport and document IT infrastructure systems, ensuring stability and performance.\nComprehend and manage system architecture involving servers, databases, APIs, load balancers, firewalls, networking, and SAN.\nBuild, configure, and maintain virtualized environments using Hyper-V and/or VMware.\nAdminister Windows Server environments including patching, performance tuning, and security hardening.\nManage Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD) and user provisioning tasks.\nDesign, implement, and own automation scripts using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible or Terraform.\nOversee backup processes at various levels-VM snapshots, OS-level, and SAN-level.\nMonitor system health and performance using appropriate logging and monitoring tools; respond to incidents and perform triage effectively.\nUse code management repositories (e.g., GitHub, Azure DevOps) for infrastructure configuration and deployment.\nContribute to SCRUM or Agile processes by delivering infrastructure-related tasks and improvements.\nLead projects from design to completion with minimal supervision and guide junior engineers through mentorship and knowledge-sharing.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and provide timely resolution to critical infrastructure issues.\nQualifications:\n5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure management.\nStrong understanding of IT system components: servers, databases, APIs, networking, firewalls, load balancers, SAN.\nProficiency in Windows Server administration, including patching and security best practices.\nHands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and/or VMware.\nSolid experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.\nExperience using and managing infrastructure with Ansible or Terraform.\nFamiliarity with scripting languages (PowerShell preferred);
