Role Overview :
As a Redis Cache & Real-Time Data Engineer, you will be at the heart of our high-frequency data infrastructure, designing and maintaining systems that power sub-millisecond responses for millions of users. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and site reliability engineers to architect robust caching layers and real-time data pipelines. Your work directly influences the scalability and performance of our platform, ensuring that our business remains agile and our customers experience seamless, lightning-fast interactions even during peak traffic loads.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and optimize high-performance Redis clusters to ensure low-latency data retrieval and high availability for mission-critical applications.
- Design scalable data structures and caching strategies that reduce database load and improve overall system throughput for end-users.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate real-time data streaming solutions like Kafka, ensuring consistent data flow across distributed systems.
- Conduct deep-dive performance tuning and bottleneck analysis on Linux-based environments to maintain system stability under heavy concurrent loads.
- Develop and maintain efficient algorithms and multithreaded services in Java or Python to handle complex data processing tasks at scale.
- Partner with database architects to refine NoSQL and Cassandra schemas, ensuring optimal storage efficiency and query performance for evolving business requirements.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing distributed systems, with a deep understanding of Redis internals, data structures, and advanced caching patterns.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code in Java or Python, with a strong grasp of multithreading and concurrency models.
- Exceptional analytical skills to troubleshoot complex system architecture issues and perform rigorous performance tuning in high-traffic production environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively translate technical requirements into scalable solutions while collaborating with diverse engineering stakeholders.
- Solid foundation in Linux system administration and a comprehensive understanding of how to optimize hardware and software interactions for real-time data processing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Hyderabad, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute, reflecting a strong academic background in algorithms and data structures.
- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in building and scaling real-time data platforms, with a track record of delivering high-impact technical solutions.
