Candidates should have hands-on experience building scalable, reliable, production-grade data pipelines and modern data platforms.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.\nBuild and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to integrate data from multiple sources.\nImplement data quality checks, validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.\nOptimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.\nWork with cloud-based data engineering services on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nCollaborate with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business teams.\nFollow best practices for data security, governance, documentation, and version control.\n\nRequired Skills\n2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering.\nStrong programming skills in Python and SQL.\nHands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development.\nExperience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar.\nUnderstanding of data quality, pipeline optimization, and performance tuning.\nFamiliarity with Git and CI/CD practices.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Delta Lake and lakehouse architecture.\nFamiliarity with Docker and data pipeline deployment practices.\n\nEducation\nBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nHiringhood Phygital Matchday Selection Process\n1.
