Senior Accounts Executive
Hishabee Technologies Limited is a rapidly growing startup focused on SaaS and Fintech solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounts Executive with a strong accounting, VAT, and tax background to join our Accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations.
Manage tax-related tasks, including the preparation of tax returns and coordination with tax authorities.
Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies on time.
Work closely with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and resolve accounting issues.
Stay updated on financial regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, VAT, and tax management.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
