This collaboration is essential to provide secure and reliable high-performance communication solutions to the European Union and its member states.\nTo be part of this project, we are looking for a Configuration and Documentation Management Engineer. The responsibilities of the position are as follows:\nResponsibilities\nDefine, implement and maintain Configuration and Documentation Management processes in accordance with project, customer and applicable standards requirements.\nControl baselines, configuration items and technical documentation, ensuring full traceability throughout the project lifecycle.\nManage the configuration control of the project's Ground Segment infrastructures and ensure conformity with applicable requirements and programme baselines.\nCoordinate configuration change-management activities, including the review, evaluation, approval and implementation of change requests and deviations.\nSupport configuration audits and reviews, ensuring consistency between requirements, design, documentation and delivered products.\nManage project data and documentation repositories, ensuring document integrity, version control, accessibility and compliance with contractual requirements.\nCoordinate Configuration and Data Management interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including institutional customers, partners and subcontractors.\nProduce and maintain the associated Configuration and Data Management documentation, records and contractual deliverables.\nEstablish, implement and continuously improve the Configuration and Data Management processes deployed in the project.\nMinimum requirements\nMaster's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.\nAt least 5 years of relevant experience.\nHands-on experience in Configuration Management and Data Management tasks within complex engineering projects.\nPractical knowledge of baselines, configuration items, change control, configuration status accounting and document control.\nExperience managing technical documentation and contractual data deliverables from multiple teams or subcontractors.\nKnowledge and experience with configuration-management, document-management and controlled-repository tools.\nKnowledge, through training or experience, of applicable frameworks and standards, including ECSS and ISO.\nExperience supporting configuration audits and formal reviews.\nExperience working with classified information is considered an asset.\nNationality of an EU Member State and willingness to undergo an EU Secret clearance process.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken; any other European language is considered an asset.\nLocation\nArganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain.\nAt Hispasat we promote equal opportunities and an inclusive environment.
