The responsibilities of the position are as follows:\nResponsibilitiesLead technical and systems-engineering matters across the IRIS² Ground Segment.\nCoordinate systems-engineering activities with customers, consortium partners and subcontractors.\nLead technical coordination with partners, subcontractors and customers for deliverables, actions, meetings and formal reviews.\nLead the production, consolidation and delivery of technical documentation and engineering outputs.\nEnsure compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards and applicable regulatory requirements.\nManage technical timelines, budgets, resources and priorities in coordination with programme management.\nConduct technical risk assessments, define mitigation actions and follow their implementation.\nCoordinate requirements, interfaces, architecture, integration and validation activities across Ground Segment domains.\nBe accountable for the quality and timely delivery of the assigned technical outputs.\nMinimum requirementsMaster's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.\nMore than 10 years of relevant professional experience.\nExperience in large institutional or commercial programmes.\nProven experience managing technical teams in complex engineering projects.\nStrong experience in Ground Segment hardware and software development and integration.\nDeep end-to-end knowledge of satellite Ground Segment engineering.\nKnowledge of satellite Ground Segment operations and network management.\nExperience with systems-engineering and requirements-management methodologies and tools.\nStrong presentation, communication, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.\nNationality of an EU Member State and willingness to undergo an EU Secret clearance process.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken; any other European language is considered an asset.\nLocationArganda del Rey, Madrid, Spain.\nAt Hispasat we promote equal opportunities and an inclusive environment.
