We don’t expect you to ‘fit’ every requirement - your life experience, character, perspective, and passion for achieving great things in the world are equally as important to us.\nJob description\nPosition Overview- The Team\nThe HR Technology Associate Product Owner supports the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of Workday and related HR technologies, including Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Absence, and Onboarding. As a key member of the HR Technology team, this role partners with HR leaders, IT, and vendors to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions that improve HR processes, system performance, and employee experience.\nThe Role- Key Responsibilities:\nNeed 2- 6 Yrs of experienced candidate.\nTechnology Implementation & Optimization\nParticipate in the end-to-end implementation of Workday modules and other HR systems, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.\nEnsure seamless integration of complementary technologies with Workday to support broader HR operations.\nManage data conversions and migrations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and security of HR data.\nProduct Ownership & Strategy\nContribute to the definition and execution of product roadmaps for Workday and supplementary HR tools to align with business needs.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize system requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that optimize system performance, functionality, and user experience while aligning solutions with business objectives.\nSystem Management & Maintenance\nSupport system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain smooth operations.\nTroubleshoot system issues, working closely with IT and external vendors to ensure timely resolution.\nEnsure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security protocols.\nSupport configuration changes and system administration activities within Workday and related HR applications.\nConduct regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system updates, enhancements, and new functionality.\nMaintain system documentation, process flows, configuration workbooks, and support materials.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nWork closely with HR teams (HRBP, Shared Services, COEs) and IT to deliver integrated solutions.\nAct as a liaison between HR, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure successful project execution.\nFacilitate requirements gathering, recommend best practices and technology-enabled improvements, and communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to stakeholders.\nTraining & User Support\nDevelop user guides, training materials, and communication plans to ensure adoption of new functionalities and systems.\nProvide end-user support for system-related queries and troubleshooting.\nSupport change management activities to drive successful adoption of new processes and technologies.\nGather user feedback and recommend enhancements to improve the overall employee and manager experience.\nWhat you’ll bring -Qualifications and Skills\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science (Preferred not mandatory)\nExperience (Preferred but Not Mandatory):\nFamiliarity with Workday or other HCM systems, Exposure to HR processes across employee lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, and Performance.\nExperience participating in HR technology implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects.\nRelevant Workday Pro certifications are a plus.\nTechnical Skills:\nBasic understanding of HRIS systems, integrations, and data management principles.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for learning new technologies.\nUnderstanding of HR business processes and how they translate into system requirements.\nSkilled in using Excel and other data analysis tools to support system requirements, reporting, and process improvements.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong collaborator with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nCustomer-focused and adaptable, with the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions, manage multiple priorities, and partner across teams to deliver impactful technology enhancements and employee experiences.\nWhy Join Us?\nGain hands-on experience with leading HR technologies, including Workday, while contributing to enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives.\nCollaborate with a high-performing team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development.\nBuild your expertise in HR technology, product ownership, and digital employee experience solutions.\nAbout us\nWe’re a global, 1000-stong, diverse team of professional experts, promoting and delivering Social Innovation through our One Hitachi initiative (OT x IT x Product) and working on projects that have a real-world impact.
