And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nWorkbase Location: Kaohsiung HSR Site Office\nType of Contract: Fixed term 2 years\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the Project Manager in coordinating daily project activities related to rolling stock delivery, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.\nMonitor project progress against schedule and prepare regular status reports, action trackers, and KPI updates for project management review.\nCoordinate site activities and interface management among the customer, consortium partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.\nAttend project meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely closure.\nAssist in managing project documentation, including technical submissions, correspondence, reports, procedures, and customer approvals.\nTrack project risks, issues, and change requests, and maintain relevant registers to support effective project control.\nCoordinate logistics, resource planning, site access arrangements, and administrative support for visiting engineers, experts, and stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with project quality, safety, environmental, and customer requirements while supporting site activities.\nSupport commercial and contractual administration tasks, including progress verification, budget tracking, invoice support, and record keeping as assigned by the Project Manager.\nMultiple project support if required\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Transportation, Business Administration, or related discipline.\n5 years of experience in railway, rolling stock, transportation, infrastructure, or engineering projects.\nStrong project coordination and communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint).\nFamiliarity with project management tools and document control systems.\nAbility to work independently at project site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.\nGood command of English and Chinese (spoken and written).\nExperience in railway, metro, LRT, or high-speed rail projects is an advantage.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
