You will ensure accurate product configurations, seamless integration with pricing and costing, and effective support for sales and engineering teams while adhering to established governance frameworks.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain product configurator models aligned with business requirements.\nEnsure accuracy of configuration logic, rules, dependencies, and constraints.\nMaintain configuration-related master data including product structures, attributes, pricing, and costing inputs.\nEnsure data consistency between configurators and integrated systems such as SAP and CPQ platforms.\nPerform comprehensive testing of configuration scenarios and support SIT and UAT activities.\nCollaborate with engineering, product management, sales, and IT teams to translate business requirements into configuration logic.\nProvide operational support by troubleshooting and resolving configuration-related issues.\nCoordinate with AMS and IT teams for defect resolution and system improvements.\nIdentify opportunities for configurator optimization and continuous improvement.\nEnsure adherence to governance standards, data quality guidelines, and compliance requirements.\nYour Background\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nMinimum 8+ years of experience in product configuration, CPQ systems, or related domains, preferably in transformers or manufacturing industries.\nStrong experience in Configure-to-Order (CTO) and/or Engineer-to-Order (ETO) environments.\nKnowledge of product structures (BOMs), configuration logic, and variant management.\nHands-on experience with CPQ platforms (e.g., Conga, Salesforce CPQ) and SAP SD/MM integration.\nUnderstanding of pricing and costing concepts related to configuration.\nExperience supporting testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and Agile methodologies is preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.\nProficiency in written and spoken English.\nCore Competencies\nConfiguration development and maintenance\nCross-functional collaboration\nData accuracy and quality management\nProblem solving and analytical thinking\nContinuous improvement mindset\nAccessibility and reasonable accommodation\nQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
