Working closely with application, cloud, network, and infrastructure teams, the group designs, operates, and continuously improves security controls that safeguard business-critical systems while enabling innovation. The team combines operational excellence with security engineering expertise to strengthen the organization’s overall security posture and resilience.\nThe Role\nAs a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer - Application & Edge Protection, you will help secure the organization’s external attack surface by managing and enhancing technologies that protect web applications, APIs, and internet-facing services. You will deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and API security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. Working closely with development, cloud, network, and infrastructure teams, you will investigate security events, support incident response activities, identify security gaps, and contribute to continuous improvements in security architecture and operations. This role combines hands-on engineering, operational support, and strategic initiatives to help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and performance of critical business services.\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n3-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, network security, or security operations.\nHands-on experience with DDoS mitigation platforms, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and API security technologies.\nStrong understanding of web technologies, including HTTP/S, REST APIs, TLS, and modern application architectures.\nKnowledge of network security concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with OWASP Top 10 and API Security Top 10 risks.\nExperience with security monitoring, SIEM platforms, or incident response processes.\nExposure to technologies such as Akamai, Cloudflare, F5, Imperva, Infrastructure as Code, or security automation tools.\nAbout us\nWe’re a global team of innovators.
