This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of ECAD applications and supporting Hitachi Energy engineering and other value chains globally.\nHow you will make an Impact:\nManage and enhance the ECAD service portfolio, ensuring a harmonized and strategically aligned application landscape.\nLead agile development teams, application managers, project managers, specialists, and external vendors.\nOversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ECAD applications while ensuring data integrity and consistency.\nManage the full lifecycle of ECAD applications and environments, including selection, deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, demand, and strategic objectives.\nManage vendor relationships, including software and hardware licensing, technical support, and contract negotiations.\nEnsure successful delivery of software development projects in alignment with the Hitachi Energy IT Project Management Framework.\nDevelop and implement ECAD best practices, standards, and procedures to improve design efficiency and quality.\nEvaluate and introduce new ECAD technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and design capabilities.\nManage budgets for ECAD software, hardware, and services while ensuring compliance with industry standards, company policies, data security requirements, and monitoring system performance and team activities.\nYour Background \nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in ECAD system administration, development, support, or design engineering roles.\nAt least 3 years of leadership or management experience. Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize workloads, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong experience with Agile software development methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.\nKnowledge of IT service management frameworks, particularly ITIL.\nExtensive hands-on experience with industry-standard ECAD tools, including Zuken E3.series, Altium, or similar platforms.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior business stakeholders.\nStrong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and cost management.\nThe final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.\nThis role may be open in multiple locations.
