EMEA Country Controller - Statutory and IFRS Reporting Specialist
Meet Our Team
EMEA Controllership holds responsibility for IFRS group reporting and the preparation of statutory financial statements across 26 countries. We collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that accounting operations and business decisions comply with IFRS and local GAAP regulations. The mission of our team is to provide valuable insights and reliable financial information to internal and external stakeholders. Our team’s capabilities stem from many years of experience in Revenue, GL, Inventory, Tax, Statutory Accounting, and External Audit. What You’ll Be Doing
- Take core responsibility for the preparation and submission of financial statements for dedicated countries
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies at the group reporting level
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements at the local GAAP reporting level
- Analyze complex deals and accounting queries
- Provide technical accounting guidance to transactional departments
- Gather information on business changes and assess their impact on financial statements
- Prepare balance sheet and income statement analytics based on IFRS (monthly/quarterly)
- Identify and manage balance sheet risks (including review of reconciliations and overall analytical review)
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and strategic recommendations to management
- Manage cooperation with internal and external auditors
- Collaborate with other functions such as GFSS, FP&A, Treasury, Facilities, Legal, Tax, and HR
- Support efficiency and compliance in cross-GEO/global finance and accounting projects

What You Bring to the Team
- Ability to make decisions, identify problems, and proactively develop solutions
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (IFRS, relevant local GAAP, and SOX), and month-end closing processes
- Accounting qualifications are an asset (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
- Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to international stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure, manage expectations, and meet deadlines
- Excellent business judgment and demonstrated ability to build sustainable partnerships with Finance and other global functions
