This role requires a highly collaborative professional with strong finance domain expertise, proven project management capabilities, and practical Scrum Master experience to enable high-performing teams and drive business value through incremental delivery.\n\nHow you'll make an impact\nLead end-to-end delivery of Finance IT projects while serving as a hands-on Scrum Master for the Local Analytics portfolio.\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to support continuous improvement and delivery excellence.\nDrive alignment between Product Owners, business stakeholders, and suppliers regarding priorities, implementation plans, dependencies, and release expectations.\nManage projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation and planning through deployment, hypercare, and project closure.\nEstablish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, including supplier management, contractual compliance, timelines, milestones, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and escalation procedures.\nEnsure all project activities comply with the Hitachi Energy Project Management Framework, governance standards, audit requirements, and internal control processes.\nPartner closely with Business Project Managers and Product Owners to manage scope, timelines, costs, quality, risks, and backlog priorities.\nCoordinate and oversee IT project activities, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, schedules, and business outcomes.\nManage project operations including resource planning, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communication.\nProvide regular project updates and status reporting to Steering Committees, Project Sponsors, and senior leadership teams.\nFoster strong collaboration between business and IT teams, promoting shared accountability and effective decision-making.\nProactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges before they impact project success.\nCoordinate operational readiness activities, transition-to-support processes, and hypercare support for incremental releases.\nDrive vendor performance, ensuring third-party providers meet contractual obligations, quality expectations, and delivery commitments.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices in project management, Agile methodologies, and delivery governance.\n\nYour background\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.\nMinimum 8+ years of experience managing global IT projects within complex multinational organizations.\nAt least 1 year of hands-on Scrum Master experience, including facilitation of Scrum events, backlog refinement, impediment resolution, and Agile team coaching.\nProven experience delivering Finance IT projects with strong knowledge of financial systems, finance processes, and enterprise applications.\nExperience working within SOX-controlled environments, including knowledge of internal controls, IT General Controls (ITGCs), audit requirements, change management, and governance processes.\nStrong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies, with demonstrated ability to operate in hybrid delivery environments.\nProven ability to translate business requirements into actionable project plans, roadmaps, and delivery strategies.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and technology functions.\nStrong communication and presentation skills with fluency in spoken and written English.\nDemonstrated expertise in managing global third-party vendors and strategic supplier relationships.\nExperience managing project budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and delivery performance metrics.\nProfessional certification in Project Management, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, or related disciplines is preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, SAFe, ITIL).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.\nRecognized leadership capabilities with a track record of building collaborative, high-performing teams in global and multicultural environments.\nAbility to effectively bridge business and technical perspectives and drive successful outcomes across diverse stakeholder
