And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nPT\nEstamos atualmente à procura de um Field Service Engineer para integrar a Hitachi Rail Portugal e apoiar atividades de manutenção, instalação e comissionamento de sistemas de sinalização ferroviária e de comunicação em toda a rede nacional portuguesa.\nNota: Esta função será baseada nas zonas de Coimbra, Santa Comba Dão e Pampilhosa.\nUm Field Service Engineer é responsável por:\nRealizar manutenção preventiva e corretiva em sistemas de sinalização ferroviária e telecomunicações.\nDiagnosticar avarias, substituir componentes, executar reparações e restabelecer o funcionamento normal dentro dos tempos de resposta contratuais.\nExecutar testes de sistema, inspeções, medições e verificações funcionais de acordo com procedimentos internos e normas ferroviárias.\nAssegurar suporte de primeira linha para incidentes ocorridos na Rede Ferroviária Nacional (RFN).\nApoiar a instalação, integração e configuração de equipamentos no local.\nRealizar atividades de comissionamento, incluindo arranque, verificação de cablagem, configuração do sistema e testes funcionais/de aceitação.\nExecutar atividades em total conformidade com as regras de segurança ferroviária e normas técnicas.\nManter registos técnicos precisos, logs, não conformidades e relatórios.\nCoordenar com o Centro de Manutenção, equipas de engenharia e equipas de projeto para resolver problemas técnicos.\nFornecer feedback à Engenharia sobre problemas recorrentes e melhorias do sistema.\nGarantir o controlo de configuração dos equipamentos instalados de acordo com os processos da empresa.\nCompetências Técnicas e Profissionais\nLicenciatura em Engenharia Eletrotécnica / Engenharia Electrotécnica ou equivalente.\nExperiência prévia em sinalização ferroviária, sistemas eletrotécnicos, telecomunicações, automação ou áreas relacionadas.\nExperiência de trabalho na Rede Ferroviária Nacional (RFN) é uma forte vantagem.\nCertificação válida em “Segurança Ferroviária para Técnicos” (IET 77) ou disponibilidade de a obter.\nSólidos conhecimentos em sistemas de baixa tensão, circuitos, esquemas, ferramentas de teste e equipamentos eletromecânicos.\nCapacidade de ler e interpretar desenhos técnicos, manuais e documentação de sinalização.\nDomínio de português e inglês.\nCarta de condução válida e disponibilidade para rotatividade de prevenção (on-call).\nPreferencial / Valorizado\nConhecimento das normas ferroviárias CENELEC (EN 50126/128/129).\nExperiência prévia em trabalhos de campo com fortes restrições de segurança e operação.\nEN\nWe are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join Hitachi Rail Portugal to support maintenance, installation and commissioning activities for railway signalling and communication systems across the national Portuguese network.\nNote: This role will be based near Coimbra, Santa Comba Dão and Pampilhosa\nA Field Service Engineer is responsible for:\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on railway signalling and telecommunications systems.\nDiagnose faults, replace components, execute repairs and restore normal operation within contractual response times.\nExecute system tests, inspections, measurements and functional verifications following internal procedures and railway standards.\nEnsure first-line support for incidents occurring on the national railway network (RFN).\nSupport installation, integration and configuration of equipment on-site.\nConduct commissioning activities, including start-up, cabling checks, system configuration, and functional/acceptance tests.\nPerform activities in full compliance with railway safety rules and technical standards.\nMaintain accurate technical records, logs, non-conformities and reports.\nCoordinate with the Maintenance Centre, engineering teams and project teams to resolve technical issues.\nProvide feedback to Engineering on recurrent problems and system improvements.\nEnsure configuration control of installed equipment according to company processes.\nTechnical & Professional Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrotechnical Engineering or equivalent.\nPrevious experience in railway signalling, electrotechnical systems, telecommunications, automation or related areas.\nExperience working on the National Railway Network (RFN) is a strong advantage.\nValid certification in “Segurança Ferroviária para Técnicos” (IET 77) or ability to obtain it.\nSolid knowledge in low voltage systems, circuits, schematics, testing tools, and electromechanical equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and signalling documentation.\nFluent Portuguese and English.\nValid driving licence and availability for on-call rotations.\nPreferred / Nice to Have\nKnowledge of CENELEC railway standards (EN 50126/128/129).\nPrevious experience in field environments with strict safety and operational constraints.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
