And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nAs Hitachi Rail Singapore, we are advancing rail signalling and safety solutions to ensure safe and efficient railway operations worldwide.\nOur technologies help to bring billions of people reliably to their destinations by rail every year - making sustainable mobility a reality.\nFinancial Controller for Bids and Projects (Ref.No. R0147146)\nat our location inSingapore\nYou will enjoy having these responsibilities:\nPerform project controlling activities.\nPrepare and issue project dashboards and other required reports.\nConduct project reviews with a focus on project budgets.\nManage progress payment claims to customers.\nConduct project cash-in reviews with the project team.\nProvide inputs for customer monthly progress reports.\nManage intragroup transactions.\nReview and validate project purchase requests.\nSupport monthly closing activities.\nPrepare project cost and revenue profiles for multi-year budgets and forecasts.\nApply basic knowledge of hedging, bonds and tax requirements in a project environment.\nReview cost estimates for bids.\nYou have:\n4-5 years of relevant experience in project controlling or project finance.\nEducational or professional background in Finance or Accounting is required.\nDegree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline preferred.\nProficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel is mandatory.\nBasic understanding of project-related financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, cost/revenue management, hedging, bonds and tax requirements.\nExperience in the railway, construction or engineering industry are preferred.\nKnowledge or experience with AI and automation tools would be advantageous.\nOur Talent Acquisition Team is looking forward to hearing from you\nWe look forward to receiving your application in just a few clicks via our career portal.\nFor further information about Hitachi Rail as an employer visit us on www.hitachirail.com/careers\nAbout us\nOur motivation is the mobility turnaround.
