In this role, you will be working as a GIS I&C Supervisor to cover all the activities/actions required to enable switching systems to be successfully installed, repaired and any faults eliminated. You will be responsible for installation of high voltage systems worldwide for PGHV. He/she represents PG in general through his presence and technical knowledge and PGHV specifically in dealings with the client at the installation site. The deadlines issued for each project are adhered to, whereby the cost-performance ratio must always be borne in mind in this respect. He/she embodies the PG QA philosophy, considering the special conditions on the construction sites. You will be responsible for the installation & commissioning work entrusted to him being carried out in perfect technical order.\nHow you’ll make an impact\nCarrying out installation and maintenance work independently.\n\nEnsuring compliance with the installation requirements and Instructions &ensures that the necessary accident prevention measures are observed; specifically, he abides by the guidelines for work on live system components.\n\nResponsible for red-mark drawings/documents with any changes or modification that became necessary during the installation.\n\nAdvising the sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordination of the work force necessary to comply with the schedule.\n\nCooperating with PG Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non-completed work.\n\nInspecting of arriving material for completeness and possible damage and coordination of material handling in cooperation with sub-suppliers Material Control within sub-suppliers' procedures.\n\nIssuing non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within PG scope of supply in cooperation with PG Project Manager.\n\nSupervising final installation & commissioning tests and PG installation completion documentation.\n\nSupervising and coordinating the loop check activities and participation at site meetings as requested by the PG-CH Project Manager.\n\nResponsible for the competence execution of his tasks.\n\nCarry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.\n\nResponsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.\n\nLiving Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.\n\nYour background\nA bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.\n\nMinimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.\n\nPrevious experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS Product knowledge preferred.\n\nHaving capability to use MS project professionally.\n\nProficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.\n\nAccessibility and reasonable accommodation\nQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
