This global role serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, Shared Services, Information Technology, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure HR technology solutions operate efficiently and support business objectives.\nThe ideal candidate has experience administering cloud-based HR platforms such as Workday, Workday Studio, and related HR applications, with a strong understanding of HR data, reporting, integrations, and process improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nHR Systems Administration\nSupport the day-to-day administration and maintenance of HR technology platforms, such as Workday, Workday Studio, and other integrated HR systems, which includes supporting business processes, security roles, and workflows in accordance with business requirements.\nTroubleshoot system issues, coordinate resolutions, and escalate technical problems when appropriate.\nParticipate in system upgrades, testing, and new feature implementations.\nData Management & Reporting\nMaintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of employee and contingent workforce data across HR systems.\nPerform data audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.\nSupport data requests from HR, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders.\nSystems Integrations\nMonitor and support integrations between HR systems and third-party applications.\nPartner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot integration failures and resolve data transmission issues.\nLead in implementing new integrations and enhancements to improve data flow and operational efficiency.\nValidate data mappings and perform end-to-end testing during implementation projects.\nProcess Improvement\nAnalyze HR business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.\nDocument business requirements, process flows, and system configurations.\nParticipate in cross-functional projects involving HR technology implementations and enhancements.\nIdentify opportunities to standardize processes and reduce manual work.\nUser Support & Training\nServe as a subject matter expert for HR technology platforms.\nProvide technical support and guidance to HR users, managers, and employees.\nCreate and manage user documentation, job aids, and training materials.\nDeliver training sessions for new system functionality and process updates.\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure HR systems comply with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards.\nSupport audits related to HR systems and employee data.\nMaintain documentation of system changes, configurations, and procedures.\nWhat you'll bring\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience supporting HRIS or HR technology platforms.\nExperience with Workday, Vndly or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS).\nKnowledge of HR business processes including recruiting, onboarding, core HR, payroll, benefits, and contingent workforce management.\nExperience supporting system integrations using APIs, EIBs, middleware, or other integration technologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting and analytics tools is preferred.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.\nAbility to work pro-actively, independently and multi-task on multiple projects with multiple deadlines\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting contingent workforce technologies such as VNDLY.\nExperience with HR system implementations or major enhancement projects.\nKnowledge of data governance, security administration, and compliance requirements.\nCore Competencies\nHR Technology Administration\nData Integrity & Governance\nSystems Integration\nBusiness Process Analysis\nProcess Improvement\nCustomer Service\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nAttention to Detail\nProject Coordination\nSuccess Measures\nSuccess in this role is demonstrated by maintaining high-quality HR data, ensuring reliable system performance and integrations, improving HR business processes through technology, delivering timely reporting and analytics, and providing exceptional support to HR stakeholders and end users.\nAbout us\nWe’re a global, 1000-stong, diverse team of professional experts, promoting and delivering Social Innovation through our One Hitachi initiative (OT x IT x Product) and working on projects that have a real-world impact.
