Our work supports HVDC projects across the globe in both real-time and virtual environments.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nParticipate in all project phases, including software design, development, integration, testing, verification, deployment, and maintenance. \nDevelop and maintain control and protection software solutions for HVDC projects.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation and support customer training activities.\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and drive continuous improvement. \nTake ownership of assigned tasks, effectively planning and organizing your work to deliver highquality results. \nContribute to safe and reliable operation of HVDC systems, including opportunities for international travel for commissioning activities and customer engagements.\nDemonstrate Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity through responsible actions and teamwork.\nYour Background\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. \nExperience with software development and programming, preferably within the power or energy industry.\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps. \nExperience working with customer requirements, design reviews, testing activities, and HVDC systems.\nKnowledge of EtherCAT and other industrial communication protocols. \nInterest or experience in digital control systems, signal processing, and filtering techniques. \nStrong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset. \nProfessional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
