And that’s where you come in.\nAccountabilities\nPlan, monitor and coordinate engineering activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from bid phase to final delivery, including product design, verification and validation\nCoordinate project teams across different engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with input requirements, applicable regulation and standards, and assigned budget, schedule, and quality targets\nPrepare project documentation (both during bid and execution phase), including technical proposals, engineering plans, design review reports, etc.\nDuring bid phase, prepare and maintain the Product Data Sheet (PDS), to allow the Quotation Manager to collect and consolidate the industrial product cost to be provided to the Bid Manager\nEnsure the submission of System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) for supplier engagement\nSupported by the Requirements Engineer, ensure requirements management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from bid phase to final delivery, by properly maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), duly tracing requirements compliance, alongside verification and validation evidences\nAct as the primary technical interface with the customer, ensuring the collection & delivery of project documentation (duly prepared and verified by relevant WPLs)\nManage and conduct design reviews (both internal and with customers) for the assigned bid/project, under the supervision of relevant line manager \nMonitor and report project progress and performances, as well as technical risks and opportunities, sharing them with the Project Manager and promptly escalating when necessary\nManage and track project KPI and open items by means of defined templates/dashboards\nEffectively liaise with other departments (Project Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Industrialization, Quality, Certification & Safety, etc.) to ensure the successful delivery of the assigned bid/project\nAssess the technical impact of customer changes/VOs and support the change process\nManage non-conformances in line with internal processes and procedures\nEnsure the submission of all relevant manuals, documentation, & training to the customer\nSupported by the Certification Manager and the Project Validation Manager, define the certification strategy and the validation strategy of the project\nCoordinate testing activities with relevant departments to ensure appropriate verification and validation\nSupport the homologation phase by actively coordinating the preparation of the documentation required for vehicle approval\nEnsure that engineering changes, project requirements, and project configuration are properly managed throughout the project lifecycle, in compliance with company processes\nRequired Skills/ Knowledge\nBasic knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines\nBasic knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies\nGood knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)\nAbility to coordinate multiple functional teams across different engineering disciplines throughout complex project lifecycles\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environment\nStrong organizational skills, alongside team-working, problem-solving and results-driven mindset\nAbility to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)\nAbility to work within project teams under minimal supervision\nAvailability for occasional short-term national and international business trips\nDesired Skills/ Knowledge\nMinimum experience (1-2 years) in the Railway sector or in complex industrial environments\nBasic knowledge of the main railway regulations and standards\nBasic knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool\nBasic knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations\nBasic knowledge of RAMS discipline\nBasic knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines\nBasic knowledge of electrical/mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.)\nPreferred knowledge of main vehicle architectures and functions\nFast learner with strong willingness to stay up to date with technological developments\nGood business acumen combined with solid technical skills\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nEducation / Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or equivalent preferred).\nLanguages\nKnowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level).\n“Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B1, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.”\nProponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 33.000 € e 38.000 €.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
