And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the review of project designs, specifications, and technical changes to ensure compliance with RAMS requirements.\nprepare and maintain RAM documentation and safety documentation, including RBDs, FMEA/FMECA, RAM Reports, and Demonstration Reports.\nMonitor RAM performance through data collection and analysis of failures, downtime, maintenance records, MTBF, MTTR, and Availability indicators.\nReview all installation, testing & commissioning, configuration changes, test procedures, test result, migration, trial operation, and site acceptance documents from a RAMS perspective.\nparticipate in site surveys, inspections, audits, and investigations to identify RAMS-related issues, hazards, failures, and installation deviations.\nPrepare all physical implementation reports (PISAR) and safety audit report (SAUR) for each dependency.\nBasic knowledge and understanding of Hazard log, Exported risk safety application condition, specific application safety case and ISA documents.\nPrepare periodic RAMS status reports and escalate significant safety concerns, recurring failures, or performance shortfalls to the RAMS Manager.\nPrepare field checklist procedure for the deployment team.\nCapture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of RAMS processes across assigned projects.\n*WOBS: Wayside & onboard operation solutions.\n*MLS: Mainline solutions.\n*V&V: Verification and validations Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.\nRequirements\nMinimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in railway signaling, train control systems, RAMS engineering, or other safety-critical engineering environments, with hands-on involvement in RAM activities\nExperience in railway RAMS engineering, encompassing reliability, availability, and safety assessments, RAM demonstration and reporting, FRACAS management, root-cause investigation, and hazard/risk mitigation throughout the Familiarity with the System Safety Lifecycle.\nExperience managing safety and technical documentation-including Hazard Logs, Safety Cases, and requirements traceability-while coordinating across Engineering, Commissioning, and Maintenance team\nGood written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare technical reports and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for RAM calculations, data analysis, and technical reporting\nPreferred Qualifications & Experience\nB.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics Engineering.\nExperience with relay-based, computer-based, and/or solid-state interlocking EIS signaling principles.\nFamiliarity with CENELEC, IEC, IEEE, and MIL safety standards.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
