And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nHitachi, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing and operational equipment.\nJob Responsibilities:**\n* Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery and systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.\n* Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.\n* Execute emergency repairs promptly and efficiently to restore operational functionality.\n* Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and machine performance data, in a timely and accurate manner.\n* Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.\n* Identify opportunities for process improvement and equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and reliability.\n* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.\n* Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians as required.\nJob Qualifications:**\n* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.\n* 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\n* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.\n* Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.\n* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.\n* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
