And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nAbout the Role\nAs the Network and Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the network and cybersecurity architecture for Hitachi Rail DenmarksTMS infrastructure, supporting the ERTMS L2 signalling system for the F-Bane project. You will collaborate closely with our design team in Germany, local engineering colleagues, and external partners. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, and infrastructure.\nYou’ll be a key contact for customer dialogue and responsible for aligning the solution with ISO 27001/27002, NIS2, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).\nThe Team:\nYou are joining a international team, with a down to earth culture where we work together to reach our goals. Therefor we also make an effort to do social events together.\nBeing a part of the F-bane team means to work together, support each other, learn from each other and develop constantly and celebrate the victories as one collective effort.\n Key Responsibilities\nDesign and implement network and cybersecurity architecture in collaboration with the Project Design Authority (PDA).\n\nDevelop and maintain a robust Network and Cybersecurity strategy for the project.\n\nAlign with the IT Network and Cybersecurity Engineer, as well as the operational security officer.\n\nEnsure compliance with ISO 27001/27002 across all system design, processes, and training activities.\n\nLead strategy and implementation efforts for NIS2 and CRA compliance.\n\nAssess and manage cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, working proactively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.\n\nOversee security incident response, including coordination of the Information Security Incident Response Team.\n\nManage subcontractors supporting security workstreams.\n\nProvide regular status updates, risk reports, and KPIs to the Project Design Authority.\n\nMaintain and update the cybersecurity risk matrix.\n\n Your Skills & Experience\nWe’re looking for candidates who bring a strong technical background and a collaborative mindset. You should have:\nA technical degree in Network Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\n\nIn-depth experience with ISO 27001/27002 and IEC62443 standards.\n\nHands-on experience designing secure Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, including VPNs.\n\nStrong understanding of NIS2, CRA, PKI (certificate management), and virtualization technologies.\n\nProven ability to assess and manage security risks and vulnerabilities.\n\nExcellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).\n\nFamiliarity with railway systems and safety-critical environments is an advantage but not required.\n\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is an opportunity to work at the forefront of digital transformation in the rail sector, contributing to a safer, smarter European transport network.
