In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive performance testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Architecture teams to identify performance bottlenecks, validate system behavior under load, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions to customers. As a QA Performance Automation Engineer for the Enterprise Software R&D Unit, you will be part of the respective local department and report to the R&D Team Manager.\nHow You'll Make an Impact:\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.\nAnalyze application performance under various load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability scenarios.\nCreate and execute API performance tests using Postman and integrate them into performance test workflows.\nMonitor application and infrastructure performance using Grafana and other monitoring tools.\nIdentify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure components.\nCollaborate with developers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to diagnose and resolve performance-related issues.\nAnalyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for system optimization.\nPrepare detailed performance test reports with findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.\nParticipate in test planning, requirement reviews, and system architecture discussions from a performance perspective.\nContinuously improve performance testing processes, frameworks, and automation capabilities.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, and guidelines.\nLiving Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.\nYour Background:\nMust have:\nRequired bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 3 to 6 years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.\nExperience designing and executing Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Scalability tests.\nExperience with API testing tools such as Postman.\nHands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring and performance analysis.\nStrong understanding of application performance concepts, methodologies, metrics, and bottleneck analysis.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nKnowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.\nGood to have:\nExperience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.\nKnowledge of CI/CD integration, Linux, monitoring tools, and performance test automation will be a plus.\nMore About Us:\nExcited about a new opportunity?
