Your leadership will help convert evolving customer requirements into executable, scalable, and repeatable solutions for the rapidly growing data-center market.\nThis is an opportunity for an experienced program leader who can operate at the intersection of customer engagement, technical development, and project execution. You will provide the structure, visibility, and cross-functional coordination necessary to manage complex dependencies, enable timely decisions, and successfully transition customer-driven developments into deployable solutions.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\nOwn the integrated program roadmap, including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, priorities, resources, and cross-functional execution.\nLead program-level coordination with strategic data-center customers, managing requirements, commitments, technical clarifications, and changes throughout the program lifecycle.\nTranslate evolving customer requirements into clear, executable plans for engineering, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and project-execution teams.\nCoordinate technical interfaces, grid studies, modeling, simulation, validation, and testing activities as required by the program.\nAlign R&D, engineering, product management, application engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, project management, sales, and commercial stakeholders around shared program objectives.\nEstablish and maintain effective program governance, decision logs, escalation paths, risk controls, and concise management reporting.\nProvide visibility and control of program risks, dependencies, changes, decisions, customer commitments, and resource requirements.\nIdentify critical-path dependencies and resource constraints, and drive timely recovery actions and escalations when program commitments are at risk.\nCoordinate the transition from prototypes and product development into industrialization, customer projects, and repeatable deployment.\nEnsure customer requirements are appropriately baselined and that material changes are assessed for their potential impact on scope, schedule, cost, resources, and customer commitments.\nFacilitate timely engineering and program decisions by clarifying the issue, identifying accountable owners, establishing actions, and tracking those actions through completion.\nTurn complex technical discussions into clear decisions, responsibilities, timelines, and next steps for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.\nSupport phase-gate readiness by coordinating the completion, review, and acceptance of required technical and program deliverables.\nIncorporate prototype and project lessons learned into future product releases, customer projects, and reusable program deliverables.\nMaintain an accurate and timely view of program status, schedule, resource outlook, technical readiness, and material variances.\nBuild customer confidence through transparent communication, strong governance, and proactive management of risks, issues, and escalations. \nYour Background\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Program Management, or a related technical discipline. An advanced degree is a plus.\nProven experience leading large, technically complex programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.\nProfessional experience in one or more relevant technical areas, such as power electronics, electrical engineering, power systems, battery energy storage systems, industrial automation, data centers, or comparable infrastructure.\nExperience coordinating both R&D or product-development activities and customer project execution.\nStrong program-planning capabilities, including experience managing roadmaps, milestones, governance, risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resource constraints.\nThe technical credibility to challenge assumptions, identify dependencies, facilitate engineering decisions, and communicate effectively with technical subject-matter experts.\nStrong customer-engagement skills, with the ability to manage technical clarifications, changing requirements, commitments, and escalations.\nExcellent executive-level communication skills, with the ability to present complex program information clearly and concisely.\nDemonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders across a global matrix organization without relying on direct authority.\nCommercial awareness and an understanding of how technical and program decisions can affect cost, schedule, scope, resources, and customer commitments.\nMore About Us\nAt Hitachi Energy, we are advancing the world’s energy system to be more sustainable, flexible, and secure.
