You'll be comfortable making decisions in complex environments, influencing key stakeholders, and delivering results through a practical, solutions-focused approach.\nPlease note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nLead and coordinate all Construction & Commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle, from mobilisation through to final handover.\nDrive the successful transition from Tendering and Engineering into Construction & Commissioning, ensuring clear ownership of scope, schedule, budget, risks and opportunities.\nEstablish and lead high-performing Construction & Commissioning teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities and delivery strategies are clearly defined.\nLead kick-off meetings and drive alignment across project teams and stakeholders.\nChampion constructability reviews and ensure effective implementation of construction strategies during mobilisation and execution.\nPartner with Project Directors, Site Managers and functional teams to maximise project performance and delivery outcomes.\nEnsure projects are executed safely and in full compliance with contractual, regulatory and HSE requirements.\nMonitor project progress, budgets, forecasts and resource plans, implementing mitigation and recovery measures where required.\nLead risk and opportunity management activities to drive successful project outcomes.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust.\nSupport commercial discussions including change management, variations, claims and cost control initiatives.\nProvide clear reporting and strategic insight to senior leadership teams.\nDrive continuous improvement through lessons learned, best practice sharing and operational excellence initiatives.\nYour Background\nBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.\nProven experience delivering Construction and/or Commissioning activities within major energy, utilities, industrial, infrastructure or engineering projects.\nExperience within HV, HVDC, substations, transmission & distribution, offshore wind, renewable energy or power generation projects would be highly advantageous.\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge and engage effectively across clients, contractors and project teams.\nCommercial awareness, including exposure to budgeting, forecasting, change management, variations, claims and project performance management.\nDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver within demanding project environments.\nStrong communication, leadership and relationship-building capabilities.\nA proactive mindset with a proven ability to identify issues early and implement practical solutions.\nComfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced project environments with evolving priorities.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe value capability, attitude and leadership potential as much as technical experience.
