You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Project Management, Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance functions to ensure successful project delivery while safeguarding compliance, profitability, and customer commitments.\nThis position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in project finance, commercial management, contract execution, and business partnering while contributing to projects that accelerate the global energy transition.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nPartner with Project Managers, Operations Leaders, and key stakeholders to provide financial and commercial guidance across multiple EPC and project-based assignments.\nDevelop and manage project financial execution plans, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, billing strategies, taxation considerations, and cash flow planning.\nDrive project financial performance through effective cost control, profitability optimization, revenue realization, and working capital management.\nPerform accurate cost-to-complete analysis and ensure timely project forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.\nLead financial governance activities and participate in project reviews and management reviews to ensure alignment of financial objectives and project performance.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate commercial, contractual, financial, operational, and execution risks through proactive contingency planning.\nSupport contract execution, claims management, supplier back-charges, insurance cases, and other commercial management activities.\nMonitor foreign exchange exposure, guarantees, bonds, and taxation requirements to protect business interests and support informed decision-making.\nCollaborate with project controls, planning, supply chain, finance, and operational teams to deliver data-driven insights and improve project outcomes.\nEnsure compliance with corporate governance standards, internal controls, integrity requirements, and regulatory obligations.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the adoption of digital tools, analytics, and automation to enhance business performance.\nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, integrity, and operational excellence across project teams.\nYour Background\nCA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\n3-5 years of experience in Project Controlling, Commercial Finance, Project Finance, Project Accounting, or Finance Business Partnering roles.\nHands-on experience supporting EPC, engineering, infrastructure, energy, industrial, or other project-driven organizations.\nStrong understanding of project accounting, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and project lifecycle management.\nExperience in contract management, claims administration, commercial governance, risk assessment, and contingency management.\nKnowledge of cash flow management, working capital optimization, taxation, foreign exchange exposure, guarantees, and bonds.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert financial insights into actionable business recommendations.\nExperience participating in project reviews, management reviews, and cross-functional performance discussions.\nProficiency in SAP, advanced MS Excel, and exposure to Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools is preferred.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with experience working in global and matrix organizations.\nProficiency in spoken and written English.\nMore About Us\nAt Hitachi Energy, we are committed to advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
