In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Management System, driving operational excellence initiatives, ensuring compliance with international standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the business. This is a strategic leadership position requiring strong stakeholder management, quality governance, and change management capabilities. Based on hiring discussions with Narasimharao Nandula, this role is a senior replacement position supporting the local operating unit's Quality and Continuous Improvement agenda.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nLead and continuously improve the local operating unit's Quality Management System (QMS).\nDrive deployment of Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve operational performance, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.\nEnsure compliance with ISO standards, quality policies, and regulatory requirements.\nChampion Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies across the organization.\nMonitor quality performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to drive process standardization and sustainable improvements.\nSupport customer audits, certification audits, and internal quality assessments.\nPromote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.\nProvide leadership, coaching, and guidance to stakeholders on best practices in quality and process improvement.\nCollaborate with local, regional, and global teams to align quality strategies and drive business objectives.\n\nYour Background\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. \nSignificant experience in Quality Management and Continuous Improvement within industrial, power, energy, electrical, manufacturing, or related sectors. \nStrong knowledge of ISO standards, certification processes, and Quality Management Systems.\nMandatory Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. \nProven track record of driving business-wide continuous improvement initiatives and delivering measurable operational results.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.\nDemonstrated leadership experience in a complex industrial or engineering environment.\nExperience within power, electrical, transmission, distribution, transformer, or broader energy industries is highly preferred. \nMore About Us\nAt Hitachi Energy, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
