Join us as a Sales Director - Life Sciences.\nLocation Type: The position is remote.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\nSupervises regional sales managers.\nDetermines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.\nDevelop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.\nCreate and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.\nBuild and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.\nUnderstand industry-specific trends and landscapes.\nEffectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.\nReport on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.\nEstablishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.\nImplements JR Automation sales programs by developing field sales action plans.\nMaintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply and demand.\nCompletes sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.\nMaintains staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees.\nPlans, monitors, and appraises job results.\nMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.\nNote: This list of responsibilities is inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities.\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, calculated as two (2) years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study.\nMBA preferred.\nCurrent or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.\nDisclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.\nCompany Overview:\nAt JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company, we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
