While our Data Scientists develop advanced analytics, machine learning models, and anomaly detection solutions, this role will focus on delivering impactful visualisations, dashboards, reporting solutions, and business insights that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical BI expertise with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, helping bridge the gap between complex engineering data and everyday business decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Intelligence & Dashboard Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Grafana.\nCreate intuitive visualisations that translate complex engineering and operational data into clear business insights.\nEnsure dashboards are performant, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.\nDevelop KPIs and metrics that support operational excellence and asset performance monitoring.\nStakeholder Engagement\nGather requirements from engineering, data science, and business stakeholders.\nUnderstand user needs and convert them into effective reporting and visualisation solutions.\nProvide training and support to dashboard users.\nGovernance & Best Practice\nMaintain reporting standards and data quality.\nDocument dashboards, metrics, and reporting processes.\nAdvocate modern BI and data visualisation best practices.\nContribute ideas for improving reporting capabilities and user experience.\nEssential Requirements\nCurrent and valid Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification.\nProven experience developing professional dashboards and reports in Power BI.\nProven experience with Grafana dashboard development.\nStrong understanding of data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and visualisation best practices.\nExperience working with SQL and large datasets.\nAbility to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nExcellent stakeholder management and requirement-gathering skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and genuinely enthusiastic about using data to drive improvement.\nDesirable Requirements\nExperience within engineering, transportation, rail, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, utilities, or industrial environments.\nFamiliarity with Python, Spark, Databricks, or cloud-based data platforms.\nUnderstanding of operational performance, maintenance, reliability, or asset management analytics.\nExperience working alongside Data Science or Machine Learning teams.\nKnowledge of data governance and reporting standards.\nAbout us\nWe’re a global, team of innovators.
