You are never alone - teamwork and knowledge sharing are fundamental to how we succeed.” - Lars-Ove Mellberg, Mechanical Plant Design Manager\nThis role is based in Ludvika or Västerås, Sweden.\n\nHow you’ll make an impact\nLead mechanical plant design activities for complex HVDC projects, ensuring high-quality multidisciplinary engineering coordination.\nDevelop robust and cost-effective technical solutions in line with customer requirements, contracts, budgets, and schedules.\nDrive engineering deliverables within your area of expertise and provide technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning.\nEnsure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and risk mitigation practices throughout the project lifecycle.\nPrepare work plans, cost estimates, and engineering schedules, and support scope and budget reviews.\nCollaborate closely with project teams, tender teams, customers, contractors, authorities, and supply chain partners.\nIndependently manage technical activities, solve complex engineering challenges, and support project execution with limited supervision.\nMentor and review the work of junior engineers while contributing to technical development and best practices within the team.\nYour background\n We know that no candidate meets every requirement.
