And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nSenior Product Compliance Engineer/Local Manager\nAccountabilities\nLead the team of Product Compliance Engineer.\nPrepare the dossier about compliance with REACH/ROHS/POP/RISL and similar regulations and standards.\nResponsible of SFRD/CFRD BDG assigned to the local Competence center.\nCoordination with the global competence center.\nPrepare the dossiers related to fire smoke regulations EN45545 and/or NFPA130\nAssess applicability of EU Directives about Products CE Marking\nPrepare CE Mark technical dossier for Products CE Marking\nBe in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in railway technological equipment and lifecycle assessment\nPrepare dossiers relating to the regulation for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items (EU and US Regulations)\nDevelop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions\nEnsure the Application of Company standard in the local Market aligned with Central Product Certification Function.\nRequired Skills/Knowledge\nGood Knowledge about product HSE and Chemical Risk (REACH/ROHS/POP/…)\nGood Knowledge of EN45545 and/or NFPA130 - Standard for fire protection for Rolling Stock\nKnowledge about Life Cycle Assessment Methodologies\nExperience with and an understanding of information related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components\nAt least 3 years of experience as Senior leading a team of people\nWilling to work in an international team and environment\nExcellent communication skills\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
