As a Senior R&D Engineer, you will lead technical development activities, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute to innovative products and solutions that support the energy transition. You’ll be part of a collaborative global team, contributing to the full R&D lifecycle-from concept to testing and product launch, ensuring that our solutions fulfill challenging technical requirements and new market demands.\nHow you'll make an impact:\nLead technical work packages and key development activities within global R&D projects \nPropose innovative concepts and perform advanced simulations in electromagnetic design and optimization of distribution, BESS and medium frequency transformers \nOrganize prototyping and testing activities to validate new technologies/products by interacting with engineering and manufacturing departments globally. \nContribute to technology roadmaps, innovation initiatives, and continuous product improvement. \nCollaborate in global team settings, sharing your technical expertise to support colleagues in achieving timely and high-quality results. \nLead intellectual property and risk management activities in R&D \nProvide technical support to factories, customers and sales teams. \nYour Background:\nMSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field \nSeveral years of experience in transformer design and product development within an industrial business environment \nStrong technical background in transformer design, insulation systems (air, solid, liquid), thermal performance and cooling, FEM simulation, and testing. \nProven ability to lead technical activities and deliver results in cross-functional and international environments. \nExperience with design of Medium Frequency Transformers is a plus \nExperience with transformer transient analysis, modelling and simulation is a plus \nStrong analytical, communication (in English), and problem-solving skills.\nMore about us\nWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
