And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for enthusiastic Validation & Test Engineers interested in developing expertise in embedded and safety-critical systems.\nThis role provides an excellent opportunity for candidates from Automotive, Telecom, SCADA, Industrial Automation, Embedded Systems, or Electronics backgrounds to transition into the railway sector.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport test design and execution activities.\nPerform laboratory and integration testing.\nDocument and track defects.\nSupport requirements reviews and test case preparation.\nParticipate in troubleshooting and root cause investigations.\nWork under the guidance of senior validation engineers.\nEssential Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.\nUnderstanding of embedded systems fundamentals.\nKnowledge of software and system testing principles.\nBasic knowledge of C/C++ programming.\nGood problem-solving and analytical skills.\nGood English communication skills.\nDesirable Requirements\nExperience testing embedded products.\nFamiliarity with laboratory instruments and measurement techniques.\nExposure to Automotive, Aerospace, Telecom, SCADA, or Industrial Automation projects.\nFamiliarity with requirements management and test tools.\nBasic awareness of safety-critical development concepts.\nBasic knowledge of railway systems.\nTraining\nSelected candidates will participate in a structured training and mentoring program covering ETCS, railway signalling fundamentals, testing methodologies, safety standards, and engineering tools.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
