And that’s where you come in.\nJob Description:\nRole Overview:\nWe are seeking a System Administrator with strong expertise in SQL database management and experience in Linux and Windows server environments. The successful candidate will maintain, optimize, and secure our IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, managing database performance, and supporting business-critical applications.\nWork Location: Attaba Metro Station\nKey Responsibilities:\nInstall, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.\nMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.\nManage servers and IT equipment, ensuring proper configuration and security policies.\nAdministrator SQL databases (installation, configuration, backup, recovery).\nOptimize queries and ensure high database performance.\nImplement data integrity and security measures.\nSchedule and monitor backups and disaster recovery plans.\nApply patches and updates to systems and databases.\nDevelop scripts for routine tasks and system monitoring.\nMaintain detailed documentation of configurations and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with IT policies and standards.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.\n3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator with SQL database expertise.\nStrong knowledge of:Linux and Windows server environments\nMicrosoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL\n\nFamiliarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices.\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
