The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks within our Rolling Stock Engineering Department. And that’s where you come in.\nAccountabilities \nThe main accountabilities include, but are not limited to:\nPrepare System Requirements Specifications (SyRS)\nDefine and manage system interfaces (both internal and external) throughout the entire project lifecycle\nAnalyze and assess technical documentation from Suppliers\nPrepare and verify system installation/integration drawings/specifications\nConduct design reviews (both internal and with suppliers) for the assigned onboard systems, under the supervision of relevant Engineering Managers and Project Engineers \nPrepare Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) as well as Functional Test Specifications (FTS) (including performance tests) for the assigned onboard systems\nAttend at system stand-alone type test and review of type test reports\nSupport onboard integration, performance testing and validation phases\nReview design documentation with customers and suppliers\nEnsure compliance with input requirements, international railway regulations and standards and project constraints (time, cost, quality)\nPrepare the documentation required for vehicle approval and support the homologation phase\nRequired Skills/ Knowledge\nExperience (3-5 years) in the Railway sector or in complex industrial environments\nGood knowledge of main railway regulations and standards\nGood knowledge of IBM DOORS requirements management tool\nGood knowledge of engineering processes and railway operations\nGood knowledge of system engineering and requirements management disciplines\nGood knowledge of RAMS principles and processes\nGood knowledge of design verification and validation methodologies\nGood knowledge of electrical / mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.)\nGood knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering disciplines\nGood knowledge of office automation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, international and multicultural environment\nGood organizational skills, alongside team-working, problem-solving and results-driven mindset\nAbility to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers, partners, customers)\nAbility to work within project teams under minimal supervision\nAvailability for occasional short-term national and international business trips\nDesired Skills/ Knowledge\nFast learner with strong willingness to stay up to date with technological developments\nGood business acumen combined with solid technical skills\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nEducation/Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics disciplines preferred).\nLanguages\nKnowledge of written and spoken English (at least B2 level).\n“Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.”\nProponiamo una retribuzione annua lorda compresa tra 36.000 € e 46.000 €\nThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
